Our primary goal as Spanish tutors is to provide students at CDEC-Chamber of Studies with all the knowledge and practice necessary to begin using Spanish as a second language as soon as possible.
The tutors always encourage the art of discussion in class and the development of students' writing and reading skills in the target language.
Depending on the student's level of Spanish learning and interest, the tutor could choose to teach using a CDEC course built on power points, use the students books or mixing both additionally mnemotechnic tools.
High School Diploma Equivalence
In the United States of America to begin advanced academic or technical education and receive better employment opportunities a high school diploma (HS) is required.
The government offers the opportunity to obtain a certificate equivalent to a high school diploma to individuals who did not complete HS. To receive this certificate, they have to pass one of these national examinations: the GED or the HISET exams, including four basic academic subjects:
- Mathematics (Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistic, and trigonometry)
- Social studies (civic, government, economics, history, geography)
- Natural science (life, physical, chemistry)
- Writing and reading comprehension (grammar, orthography and reading technics, reasoning through language arts)

Se necesita un diploma de escuela secundaria (HS) para continuar educación superior tecnica o academica, así como para aplicar a mejores oportunidades laborales en los Estados Unidos de América.
